The most frequently asked question are answered below. If we have not answered your question here, please do not hesitate to call us

What is dog, doggie, or doggy daycare?
The easiest way to describe is to compare it to children's daycare. Every day that your dog joins us at Bone-Voyage will be a great
adventure! Throughout the day, social dogs are encouraged to engage one another in games and play. Similar to a children's
daycare, we also have naptime (no one wants a tired & grumpy dog, right?). While we are not trainers, we do reinforce basic training
commands, such as sit, stay, down, and more.
Can I bring my enrollment forms when I drop my dog off?
For the safety of your dog, as well as the others in our care, we require that all your completed enrollment forms be submitted to
Bone-Voyage prior to his/her first visit to our facility. This allows us to not only have background information about our guests even
before we meet them, but it also enables us to help you obtain the necessary vaccination records that we require.
How are you different than the kennel we took our dogs to 10 years ago?
Historically, people took their dogs to a kennel went on vacation. The facility was cold and harsh...concrete & chainlink. That is
certainly not at Bone-Voyage! We are a boarding facility for the twenty-first century. Wrought iron beds, 42" Plasma TVs, playing for
8-10 hours each day with other friendly dogs...what more could a dog ask for!?!?
What is included for the overnight boarding fee?
Simply stated...EVERYTHING! At Bone-Voyage we would never think to charge you for the love we dole out non-stop. We provide
Kongs with peanut butter, bedding, food, and even medication administration (we do not give shots) all for one price. For dogs who are
staying with us overnight, playtime is always included. The amount of time your dog spends in daycare is up to him. While all dogs rest
for a couple of hours in the early afternoon, all dogs are monitored to ensure they are having fun.
What should my dog bring for his/her stay?
If your dog is coming for daycare, you probably don't need to bring anything. If you would prefer for your dog to be fed during naptime,
we can certainly accommodate the request if you send him/her with a doggie bag (just one serving of their usual food). If your dog will be
staying with us overnight, plan on bringing a sufficient amount of their food. You may also bring a couple of toys and a bed or blanket.
Perhaps one of the best things you can do is bring a shirt that you have worn the past few days before leaving town. We request that
everything you bring be machine washable and we can not guarantee that it will be returned to you in the condition in which you left it.
Why should I bring my dogs food?
Abruptly changing a dogs diet can (and does!) lead to digestive upset. We prefer at you bring enough food to feed during the intended
boarding period, plus a few extra meals, just in case your travel plans change. If you do not bring food from home, we will feed our
house food, currently Hill's Science Diet Sensitive Stomach.
(The fees are no different if we feed your food or ours, but eating food from home will be easier on your dog than changing his diet.)
Are your facilities indoor or outside?
All of our overnight boarding facilities are indoors, your dog will never have to brave the elements through the night. Our daycare
facility offers the best of both worlds! We have separate play areas indoors, as well as a securely fenced 5,000 sq foot play yard
outside. On days with beautiful weather, dogs will be able to choose where they wish to spend their time.
